What is Neon Alley?

Neon Alley is a 24/7 video streaming service for anime fans. Neon Alley streams anime - uncut, dubbed and (when available) in HD! - straight to your TV via your connected PlayStation® 3 or Xbox 360 video game console for the current monthly rate of only $6.99 a month. The service includes EXCLUSIVE English dubbed premieres of some of the best anime in the world.

How do I get Neon Alley on my PlayStation® 3?

Neon Alley is available on the PlayStation® 3 game console via a downloaded application. To get the Neon Alley app, browse to the "PlayStation Network" and choose "PlayStation Store." Select "Media & Apps" and then "Apps for PS3 A-Z." Search for Neon Alley and click "Download" to install the app.

How old do I need to be to subscribe to Neon Alley?

You must be the age of majority in your state of residence to become a member. While individuals under the age of majority may utilize the Service, they may do so only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

How do I get Neon Alley on my Xbox 360?

Neon Alley is available on the Xbox 360 via a downloaded application. To get to the Neon Alley app: from your Xbox 360 home page select "Apps" and then choose to either "Search Apps" and enter "Neon Alley" or "Browse Apps" and find the Neon Alley icon. Then click "Download" to install the application.

Are PlayStation® 3 and Xbox 360 the only ways to get Neon Alley?

Yes, PlayStation® 3 and Xbox 360 are currently Neon Alley's partners to watch your favorite anime right on your TV.

If I don't have a PlayStation® 3 or an Xbox 360 and I want Neon Alley, what can I do?

While we are currently only on the PS3 and Xbox 360, we sincerely respect the opinions of anime fans and want you to feel free to tweet @neonalley and comment on our Facebook page

Can I get Neon Alley where I live?

Assuming you are old enough to subscribe, Neon Alley is available to anyone in the United States and Canada with a PlayStation® 3 with an active PlayStation® Network account or an Xbox 360 console with an active Xbox Live Gold membership. Unfortunately, the channel is not available outside of the U.S. and Canada at this time.

How much does Neon Alley cost?

After a FREE ONE WEEK TRIAL, monthly membership for the Neon Alley channel will be $6.99. This one low price gives you access to our channel 24/7 for one month.

Billing Questions

How can I see when my next payment will be charged?

You can view your next billing renewal date by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page. Your next billing date will be listed under "Account Management."

If I live in Canada, what's the price?

For our Canadian subscribers, you will be charged the monthly subscription fee in U.S. dollars. Your credit card company will handle the conversion to Canadian dollars.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We do not accept American Express at this time.

How do I update my payment information?

You can update your payment information by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page. Click on the "Update" button next to your current payment method under "Account Management."

How do I view my billing history?

You can view your billing history by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page. Click on the link next to "Billing History" under "Account Management."

How often will I be charged?

If you remain a Neon Alley member after your ONE-WEEK FREE TRIAL, your account will be charged $6.99 every month. We automatically bill your Payment Method each month on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your paying membership. In the event your paid membership began on a day not contained in a given month, we bill your Payment Method on the last day of such month.

How can I access my account?

You can log into your account through a web browser. Simply visit http://www.neonalley.com and enter your login and password at the top of the page. After you click Login, click on your login name to visit the "Your Account" page.

If I decide to remain a member after my free trial, what do I have to do?

Nothing! In order to assure that you do not miss even one minute of great Neon Alley programming, if you do not cancel your membership by the time your free trial is up, your first full month of membership will begin automatically and your card will be charged the $6.99 fee for one month of membership.

How can I change my email/password/credit card?

You can change your login, email or password by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page. Click on the first "Update" link under "Your Information."

If I have paid for a month of membership and cancel my subscription before the end of the 30 days, what happens?

You may cancel your membership at any time to avoid future rebillings, and your membership will remain active until the end of the current period for which you have already been charged. You can always visit the website and click on the "Your Account" page to see the exact date your membership expires. Payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. You can cancel your membership by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page. Click on the "Cancel Your Membership" button under "Account Management."

How can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page. Click on the "Cancel Your Membership" button under "Account Management."

What happens if my credit card doesn't go through when my membership is being renewed?

We will notify you if your membership is unable to be renewed. The app will also alert you if the renewal was unsuccessful. You can check your membership status by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page.

I want to try but I'm afraid my credit card will be charged when I sign up. Is the trial REALLY free?

Yes! While you have to provide your credit card information in order to get the ONE-WEEK FREE TRIAL (we need it to prove that you are at least 18 years of age), your card will not be charged until AFTER 7 full days. You are free to cancel at any time during those 7 days, and you will not be charged. You can view when your free trial ends by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page.

Technical Questions

What minimum system requirements are needed?

To become a member of Neon Alley you must have either a PlayStation® 3 entertainment system with an active PlayStation® Network account (PlayStation® Plus is NOT required) or an Xbox 360 console with an active Xbox Live Gold membership, with broadband access (minimum of 1Mbps, 3+ Mbps recommended). If you're not sure what your broadband speed is, we recommend you go to speedtest.net and check your speed.

How do I activate my PlayStation® 3 device?

Neon Alley is available on the PlayStation® 3 game console via a downloaded application. To active your device, you must first download the Neon Alley app. To get the Neon Alley app, browse to the "PlayStation Network" and choose "PlayStation Store." Select "Media & Apps" and then "Apps for PS3 A-Z." Search for Neon Alley and click "Download" to install the app. Once installed, simply start the Neon Alley application under TV/Video Services in the XMB and follow the instructions on your screen.

How do I activate my Xbox 360 device?

Neon Alley is available on the Xbox 360 via a downloadable application. To activate your device, you must first download the Neon Alley app. To get to the Neon Alley app: from your XBOX 360 home page select "Apps" and then choose to either "Search Apps" and enter "Neon Alley" or "Browse Apps" and find the Neon Alley icon. Then click "Download" to install the app. Once downloaded, please visit NeonAlley.com to create your account and sign up for service. Once you have completed the registration process, you will be able to log into the app using your email address and password created when you signed up for your account.

How can I watch with better video quality?

Neon Alley automatically streams the highest quality video available for your internet connection. It is recommended that you have at least a 1Mbps broadband connection for standard quality video, and a 3Mbps connection for high definition video.

The wrong timezones are displayed. How can I change my timezone?

You can change your timezone by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page. Under "Your Information" click the "Update" link next to your name. You will have the option to change your account settings, including your timezone. Select your proper time zone, then click "Update Account."

How many devices can I watch Neon Alley on?

You can watch Neon Alley on one device at a time. You can have up to three devices linked to your account, but the Service can be watched on only one of those linked devices at any given time. You can manage your devices by clicking on your login name at the top of any Neon Alley website page. This will take you to the "Your Account" page. Your devices can be managed in the section labeled "Your Devices."

Content Questions

Will you have any subtitled anime on Neon Alley?

No, at this time Neon Alley will have only English dubbed content.

What shows are coming up on Neon Alley?

Why are there commercials?

Neon Alley is a 24/7 channel and in order to keep the monthly membership rate as low as possible, there are limited commercials on Neon Alley. Our goal is to bring members commercials for products they would be interested in, including video games and anime DVDs.

Is it only anime?

While Neon Alley's programming is primarily anime, our schedule will also include live-action movies from the Taiseng library and additional content that we feel will be enjoyed by our members.

Gift Questions

Can I buy a gift membership for someone who's already a member?

Yes. Your gift of any amount will be applied to their current membership.

How do I send my gift to its recipient?

When you purchase your gift, you'll have the option to print or email that gift to your recipient. Or you can provide the redemption code to your recipient in whichever manner you choose.

How do I redeem a gift?

Visit neonalley.com/gifts, enter your gift code in the redemption box, and click Redeem. Note that you will be prompted to login or create an account.

How many gift memberships can I redeem?

Your active Neon Alley membership can be extended up to 1 year in the future. You can redeem any gift membership that you receive which doesn't extend your membership beyond a year.

What happens when my gift ends?

To ensure uninterrupted streaming of Neon Alley, we will use the payment method we have on file for your account to renew your monthly membership fees. You can add or update your payment method at your neonalley.com/account page.

What happens if I cancel my account?

After applying a gift, you can cancel your account at any time. You will be able to continue streaming until the remaining value of your gift is used.
